Warehouse and Logistics Essentials (A LEAN Approach)
This two-day seminar teaches the logistics and warehouse staff, team leader, supervisor, warehouse manager and logistics manager the LEAN tools to optimize their warehouse and logistics operations.
LEAN speeds up the process of converting your customer’s orders into cash. The LEAN goals of identifying and eliminating waste, decreasing work-in-process inventories, decreasing process and manufacturing lead-times, decreasing inbound and outbound logistics costs lead to increases in supply chain capability and flow which in turn means better customer service, lower costs and better profits.
This program is beneficial to individuals in warehouse and logistics operations who need to learn about how to implement LEAN in the warehouse and logistics functions and how to get started with creating an environment for a successful implementation of LEAN. You will learn how to create the right conditions for implementing lean principles thru analyzing current performance, capacity and workforce allocation.
